ABV International and Radio Africa Group, a leader in the Pay TV market in Kenya, announced they are joining forces to increase the penetration and services offered by its already famous Bamba TV. The partnership, includes the integration of ABV CAS Servers and over 1,000,000 ABV CAS-protected STBs, which will provides access to over 50 channels – 24 of which are premium channels exclusively carried by Bamba TV and with coverage over the entire country.

As one researched data show, the global Pay-TV subscribers reached 1.05 billion after crossing the one billion marks for the year ending 2016, 60 million Pay-TV subscribers were added between the Q2 of 2016 and Q2 of 2017. There’s likely to be gradual acceleration of pay-TV penetration in India and leading to major growth over the next five years, according to a report from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) report compiled by PricewaterhouseCoopers, unveiled on September 19th.
